Although I have had two weeks off I have spent less time at the gym. First of all, I have been very busy visiting relatives, catching up on house cleaning, and spending time with my husband. Also, I am not the only person who needs days off. Gyms close during my break in order to give fitness trainers a break too. Therefore, I have learned to squeeze in my workouts at home. This is not a bad thing because it encourages me to use my own body weight, which in a lot of ways is more challenging than lifting barbells or dumbbells. I do a lot of squats, planks, mountain climbers, push ups, and other exercises that involve using my own body weight. Since I didn’t need any equipment I was able to work out anywhere.
